Priddy's Hard, Saturday 18th November 2006

On Saturday 18th November 2006 The Sussex Ghost Hunters team revisited Priddy's Hard in Gosport for a night of Ghost Hunting.

As last time we had a fantastic time and had quite a lot of activity in the Magazines and in the other areas of Priddy's Hard

We will be hoping to revisit Priddy's Hard again sometime next year.

We all went to the first vigil in C Magazine which is an outside storage area where they use to keep explosives. We took several photos here and got some very distinct orbs.
The actual magazine was warm inside, which in itself is strange as when we were there in the summer it was the only cool place to be found. We heard several strange sounds and one or two that actually sounded like moans. We decided to leave a camcorder in there and went away for refreshments.

After a refreshment break, we all headed for the main magazine which is inside the museum. It is a very large hall with chairs and four showcases at each corner of the room. The group took chairs and sat around the centre.
We all felt very calm and comfortable. Last time we were here one member had to leave the room after a short while as she felt really bad with a sudden headache.
We were having a general conversation after being in there for a while, all of a sudden we heard something hitting the floor, and after we had a search in the area we found a one pence piece. We do not know whether this was here before or not. Though I can honestly state that no one of our group was in the area or could of thrown this penny. We all swore that no one had any money on us. After this we all double checked and no one in the group was carrying any cash on them. All we had in our possession was this one penny. We also made a thorough search of the room for any coins we even checked the walls and ceiling. We all agree to settle down and see what else if anything occurred. We were just about ready to go and return to see if anything had been picked up on the camcorder in C magazine and were talking about our plans, when yet again we heard something else clatter on the floor. This sounded more like something rolling and dropping the just thrown. When we searched again there was a five pence piece. This gave us a grand total of six pence and six people, which was rather freaky.

We went to the C Magazine where we set up an Ouija board and asked for the usual response. We got a very slow and weak movement but decided to ask questions to see if we would get any sensible answers. We were getting words spelt out but nothing that could make much sense.
We kept asking this person for their name, we said we would give our names if this spirit would kindly give us their names. This spirit then spelt out all of our names starting with the ladies first.

We went over to the administration building for our next vigil. Last time we were here we felt fine in this place and went all over the house, although one member did see a figure of a man on entering the house. This time we all felt on edge as we entered, several of us experiencing shivers up the spine. We settled in one room on the ground floor as two members are disabled. Three brave members of the group decided to go upstairs to see what was happening as we had clearly heard footsteps above us. They had only been gone five minutes when there was a loud a scream and all three came flying back to let us al know Andrew had been grab around the back of his neck.
In the door way of where we were sitting we saw a man I photographed this appearance but got a picture of orbs, Andrew took a picture and it appears to be an invisible man standing in the doorway!!!

We decided to go over to the main magazine to see if we could get any more activity. We were feeling rather apprehensive when going into the room. We decided we would sit in the actual area where the money seemed to be thrown. We had been sitting there for eight minutes when we heard a coin fall between two chairs where two members were sitting. As we had previous had money thrown at us in this room we had checked we had no money with us and also checked the area for any loose change on the floor.
We checked to see what it was that had fallen between the two members. We found a ten pence piece. We knew this had to come out of thin air as no one had any money to throw. Whilst we were sitting there we had some rather high readings on the EMF meter and we were getting some interactions with most members at this time. One member had her face and neck stroked, another had her hair pulled and her tights pulled. One member had his jeans pulled and one member had her hair played with.
